About the event
Mandala in Sanskrit means circle and has been used in various spiritual traditions over time to focus attention for meditation and create a sacred space. As an art form, it is a diagram, chart or pattern that represents, the cosmos, the universe or the organizational structure of life itself, relationship to the the infinite, beyond body and mind.
We’re going to use it as a meditation practice to connect us with our internal guidance and let that inner knowing inspire what gets put on paper, which will become a symbol of our connection to the Universe as a whole.
You will need a piece of paper, a pencil, a ruler (if you have one-if not, just something to use as an edge to make a straight line), and your choice of coloring utensils-crayons, markers, colored pencils, water colors-whatever is easiest and inspires you.
You do not need to have any special skills to do this class. Anyone can do it. Come get inspired, connected, creative and have some fun!
